At Heart To Serve Home Care, we believe every veteran deserves to age with dignity, respect, and access to compassionate care. Our Veterans Home Care Services throughout Noblesville, Fishers, Zionsville, Westfield, North Indianapolis, and the surrounding communities are specially designed to support former service members and their spouses by offering dependable in-home assistance, often at little or no out-of-pocket cost to them.
We are honored to care for those who have served our nation.
What Is Veterans Home Care?
Veterans home care provides non-medical personal and companion care services to eligible veterans and surviving spouses. These services help veterans remain independent, safe, and comfortable in their own homes.
Depending on eligibility, services may be covered through:
- VA Aid and Attendance Pension Benefit
- VA Homemaker & Home Health Aide Program
- VA Community Care Network (CCN)
- State Medicaid Waiver (if also eligible)
- Private pay or long-term care insurance
Our team helps veterans navigate these systems and access all the benefits available to them.
Who Qualifies for VA Home Care Services?
Eligibility varies by program, but veterans may qualify for free or subsidized home care if:
- They are age 65 or older, OR disabled
- They served active duty for at least 90 days with 1 day during wartime (for Aid & Attendance)
- They have a service-connected disability (for VA direct services)
- They require help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, meal prep, or mobility
- They are the surviving spouse of a qualified veteran
- Their income and assets fall within eligibility thresholds (Aid & Attendance)
Don’t worry — our experienced care team will assist with paperwork at no charge.
